Our story

I came to Vancouver in 2015 to learn English. In 2016 I opened a share house, then a homestay. In 2017 the homestay got bed bugs. I refunded every guest in full and was left with an empty house and rent still owed. Fixing that hole is how I found this business.

Then 2020 arrived and the bookings stopped. I borrowed money and paid every landlord their rent in full, because that is what I had signed. It took years to clear. I would do it again, and it is the reason owners hand me their homes now.

Luvilla is built on that habit. The money side comes first, in writing, every month.
